Dr Consolee Mbarushimana serves as Lecturer and Head of the Department of Computing and Mathematical Sciences in the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Engineering, at the University of Wolverhampton. He is a member of the Cyber Research Institute (WCRI). Mbarushimana obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Université Libre de Kigali, Rwanda, in 1999, and his Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, in 2003. Prior appointments include positions at Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of Staffordshire.
Mbarushimana's research specializations encompass wireless network protocols, mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs), and cybersecurity applications of machine learning.
