Dr. Cynthia Chen Huijun is an Associate Professor at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. She is a public health economist whose work centers on the well-being of older adults and healthcare financing. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Science in Statistics.
Dr. Chen has held positions including postdoctoral scholar and research roles focused on microsimulation modeling. She was promoted to Associate Professor with retrospective effect from 1 July 2025. Her contributions include advancing research and practice in public health economics across Asia.
