Dan Howard is an Associate Teaching Professor of Management at the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business, contributing to the Business & Economics faculty. He joined the faculty in 2022, teaching courses in business law, negotiations, professional ethics, and tax research. Howard earned his Bachelor of Arts from Ohio State University in 1996 and his Juris Doctor from a California law school in 2000, providing a strong foundation in legal principles relevant to business education.
Howard's affiliations include the Management department, Master of Accounting program, Oregon MBA, and Undergraduate Programs. His excellence in instruction was acknowledged with the Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award for Business Core from the Lundquist College of Business during the 2023–2024 academic year. Additionally, he holds the position of Chair of the Politics Committee for United Academics of the University of Oregon, supporting faculty governance and advocacy efforts.
