Danislan Melis uulu serves as Director of the Institute of Information Systems and Distance Education at the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. Skryabin. Holding the academic rank of dozent and the degree of Candidate of Engineering Sciences obtained in 2005, he has made significant contributions to the university's engineering and technical education sectors. Between 2008 and 2012, he headed the Chair of Applied Mechanics within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, focusing on applied mechanics, physics, and engineering pedagogy. In his current role, he leads efforts in digitalizing the educational process, implementing distance learning programs across 16 fields for over 1,800 students, and fostering information technology integration in agrarian education. His administrative responsibilities extend to participation in university accreditation processes and admissions commissions as deputy responsible secretary.
Melis uulu's research encompasses engineering innovations, geo-economic analysis, and infrastructure development pertinent to Central Asia's agrarian context. Key publications in the Bulletin of the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University include 'Load Device for Testing High-Pressure Hoses' (2024, co-authored with B. Baktybek Sultanaliev), detailing a specialized testing apparatus; 'Geo-Economic and Geopolitical Aspects of Management of Water and Energy Tasks of the Kyrgyz Republic in Central Asia' (2024, co-authored with G.
