Dr. David Acquaye is an Associate Professor and Head of Division for Business, Management, Accounting and Finance at Chester Business School, University of Chester, within the Faculty of Science, Business and Enterprise. He holds a PhD from Cardiff Metropolitan University, completed in 2013, with a thesis titled "Does the use of project finance enhance shareholder value upon announcement of international joint ventures (IJVs)?", as well as an MBA and BSc (Hons). His academic trajectory at the University of Chester encompasses excellence in pedagogy and mentorship, highlighted by the Professional Mentor of the Year award in 2018 presented by the university and the Excellence in Teaching award in 2016 from the AAB Awards at University of Chester.
