Dr. Deepak D. Shudhalwar serves as Professor in Computer Science/Engineering and Head of the Department of Engineering and Technology at the Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE), a constituent of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in Bhopal. He also heads the Computer and ICT Centre within the department. With a total professional experience exceeding 30 years, including more than 28 years dedicated to NCERT, Dr. Shudhalwar previously taught at undergraduate and postgraduate levels before focusing on research, development, training, and extension activities in vocational education and computer science. His academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from R. T. M. Nagpur University, Nagpur, an M. Phil. in Computer Science, an M. Sc. in Computer Science, and a B. Sc. in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science. He has undergone more than 10 training programmes, including orientation and refresher courses.
Dr. Shudhalwar's research specializations encompass vocational education and training, computer science and engineering, information technology, and software engineering. He has produced over 100 publications, including curricula, textbooks, book chapters, instructional modules, research papers, and videos, primarily for National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) sectors such as IT-ITeS, Media & Entertainment, Telecom, and Electronics. Key textbooks include Cloud Computing Assistant (NIE/ITS/Q1201, Classes 9-10), Junior Software Developer (SSC/Q0508, Classes 11-12), Artificial Intelligence Associate (NIE/SSC/Q1004, Classes 11-12), Domestic Data Entry Operator (SSC/Q2212, Classes 9-10), Optical Fiber Technician (TEL/Q6401, Classes 11-12), Field Technician Computing and Peripherals (ELE/Q4601, Classes 11-12), and Story Board Artist (MES/Q0507, Classes 9-10).
