Dr. Dong Wang is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Agriculture and Food Sustainability at the University of Queensland. His research focuses on agribusiness, rural development, and economics. He investigates rural transformation pathways, policy responses to challenges in rural areas, energy transitions, and resource management in agricultural contexts, particularly in Asian developing countries including China, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Pakistan.
Dong Wang has an extensive publication record with 19 journal articles and 3 conference papers. Wang has participated in masterclasses in Indonesia to support rural transformation across Southeast Asia.
