Erin Gorter is a distinguished rural industry consultant specializing in rural and regional sectors and communities in Western Australia. Growing up on a family farm in southern WA, she has been an integral part of the family farming business for over 25 years, focusing on sheep and grain production. Her career encompasses diverse roles across local, regional, state, and national levels, where she has spearheaded the formation and management of key agricultural groups and businesses, including Evergreen Farming and Southern Dirt. Gorter excels at identifying gaps in industries and communities, devising innovative solutions, and uniting diverse stakeholders to drive meaningful change. She prefers hands-on engagement, often found in work boots interacting with people from all walks of life to foster collaboration and impact.

Gorter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). She currently serves as Chair of the Grower Group Alliance, having joined the board in December 2018 and assuming the chair position in December 2024. Previously, she was elected as a Director of Meat & Livestock Australia in 2015, contributing to national livestock industry strategies.
