Her research focuses on tissue engineering and bone grafting materials, as indicated on her Google Scholar profile, where she has accumulated 877 citations. She is affiliated with both the Depok and Salemba campuses of Universitas Indonesia and contributes to studies aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.
Ette S. Tadjoedin has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in periodontal and regenerative dentistry. Key works include 'High concentrations of bioactive glass material (BioGran®) vs. autogenous bone for sinus floor elevation: Histomorphometrical observations on three split mouth clinical cases' (Clinical Oral Implants Research, 2002), 'Periodontal surgical therapy for orthodontic fixed appliance complications' (2018), 'Effectiveness of chlorhexidine gels and chips in Periodontitis Patients after Scaling and Root Planing: a systematic review and Meta-analysis' (BMC Oral Health, 2023), 'Induksi Model Periodontitis Pada Mencit: Perbandingan Beberapa Teknik Secara In Vivo' (2023), 'Mobile Application-Based Support for Periodontal Treatment Improves Clinical, Cognitive, and Psychomotor Outcomes: A Randomized Controlled Trial Study' (Dentistry Journal, 2024), and 'Effectiveness of 0.2% Hyaluronic Acid on Clinical, Biomolecular and Microbiological Parameters in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients with Periodontitis' (European Journal of Dentistry, 2024). Additional research outputs encompass bibliometric analyses on gingivectomy trends, evaluations of hyaluronic acid in periodontitis, chlorhexidine and metronidazole applications, mobile app interventions for periodontal care, and biocompatibility testing of monetite granules as bone substitutes. As principal investigator, she has led projects in 2022 on the biocompatibility and bioactivity of bone replacement materials. Her contributions appear in Scopus-indexed journals and conference proceedings, reflecting her involvement in clinical trials, systematic reviews, and experimental models of periodontitis.
