This hands-on background informs her academic contributions, enabling her to bridge practical insights with scholarly inquiry. Currently, she is undertaking her PhD at Southern Cross University, with her thesis focusing on the ways in which children’s agency is facilitated and supported both within kindergarten settings and in connection with home learning environments.

These works reflect her research interests in children's autonomy, participation, and environmental influences on learning in early years contexts.
