Rate My Professor G. Murugesan

Dr. G. Murugesan serves as Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai, Erode, a position he has held since 1998, accumulating over 28 years of dedicated service at the institution. He earned his Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai in 2009, in addition to M.E. and M.S. degrees. With 29 years of teaching experience and more than 13 years in research, Dr. Murugesan currently acts as Chief Coordinator (Academic), previously noted as Dean Academic. His administrative contributions are extensive, including membership in the Academic Council, Governing Council, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Help Desk Committee (Anti-Ragging), and Universal Human Values (UHV) Cell as convener. He has also served as an NBA evaluator since 2013 and organized international conferences such as the International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Communication Technologies.

Dr. Murugesan's research focuses on networking, image processing, wireless embedded systems, and device modeling, evidenced by his supervision of Ph.D. theses at Anna University from 2016 to 2020 on antenna design, VLSI architecture, and image fusion. He has produced 155 publications, comprising 80 journal articles, 71 conference proceedings, and others, garnering 432 citations with an h-index of 14.
