Dr. Ella Guangxin Xu serves as a Lecturer in the College of Business at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Western Australia (UWA) Business School. Her doctoral thesis, titled 'The Role of Corporate Governance in Family Businesses: Three Essays on the Performance Effects,' was completed in 2022 and focuses on the performance implications of governance mechanisms in family-controlled enterprises. Prior to her current role, Xu has a diverse professional background encompassing academia, industry, and government sectors. She coordinates Work Integrated Learning (WIL) units within the Murdoch Business School and actively engages in teaching quantitative research methods for business.
