Professor Ian Hamilton is Vice Dean of Research at The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment and Professor of Energy, Environment and Health at the UCL Energy Institute, University College London. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Waterloo in 2005, an MSc in Built Environment – Environmental Design from UCL, and a PhD in Energy and Built Environment from UCL completed in 2015. Professor Hamilton previously served as Executive Director of the Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change.
