Jackie Peila-Shuster is an Associate Professor in the School of Education within the College of Health and Human Sciences at Colorado State University. She serves as Coordinator of the M.A. in Counseling and Career Development program and Coordinator of the Career Counseling specialization. Peila-Shuster earned her Ph.D. in Education and Human Resource Studies, with a concentration in counselor education and career counseling, from Colorado State University in 2011. She holds credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). Her career at Colorado State University spans nearly two decades, during which she has advanced counseling education and career development initiatives, including contributions to program handbooks, student mentoring, and faculty research efforts. Recognized for her service, she has been honored with the Outstanding Adviser Award from the College of Health and Human Sciences in 2017-18 and the CSU Career Center Career Impact Award in 2024, along with being named a Career Impact Award honoree for 2023-2024 and a Career Support Champion.
