Dr. Jason Harding is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Tourism and Marketing at Griffith Business School, Griffith University, based on the Gold Coast campus in room G27 2.16A. He is an academic, graphic designer, artist, and design thinker whose background lies in elite-level sports science. Harding holds a Bachelor's degree and a PhD in sports science from Griffith University, with his doctoral thesis completed in 2010 titled 'Technological Performance Assessment Innovation for Elite-Level Snowboarding.' This work was conducted in association with the Australian Institute of Sport and the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia, where he previously served as a sports scientist. His transition to academia at Griffith reflects a career bridging sports performance analysis and business disciplines in tourism, sport management, and marketing.
