Jenna Burke is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of Colorado Denver Business School. She earned her PhD in Accountancy from Bentley University and her BSBA in Accounting and Finance from Northeastern University. Licensed as a CPA in Massachusetts, Burke's research centers on emerging topics in external auditing research. Her work examines new disclosure requirements for external auditors and the oversight of risks, including financial reporting complexity and media criticism of client environmental, social, and governance practices. She has published extensively in leading academic journals, contributing insights into auditor responses to various corporate issues.
