Jens Hagendorff is Professor of Finance at King’s College London, where he also serves as Head of the Department of Accounting & Financial Management in King’s Business School and as Executive MBA Programme Director. Throughout his career, he has held several prestigious positions, including Professor of Finance at the University of Edinburgh, Professor of Finance & Investment at Cardiff University, AmBank Financial Services Professor at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, a position in the Financial Stability Department of the Bank of Spain, and lecturer at the University of Leeds. These roles underscore his extensive experience in finance and banking across Europe and Asia.
Hagendorff specializes in bank risk and systemic risk, ESG factors, and the risk/return profile of companies within accounting and financial management.
