Dr. Joseph Sia is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management, Marketing and Digital Business within the Faculty of Business at Curtin University Malaysia, located at the Miri, Sarawak campus. With a PhD, his research centers on consumer behavior, digital marketing, educational technology, and tourism. His scholarly work explores critical areas such as factors influencing students' college choice decisions, the adoption of innovative technologies like drone food delivery services, the role of emojis in enhancing instructor credibility and student learning motivation, sustainable practices including food waste separation and reusable containers, and the impacts of COVID-19 on social wellbeing, panic buying, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and transitions to blended teaching post-pandemic.
Dr. Sia's academic career at Curtin University Malaysia has produced a substantial body of peer-reviewed publications.
