Dr. Kyaw Myo Aung serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering at Curtin University Malaysia, Sarawak Campus, within the Faculty of Engineering and Science. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) awarded in 2022, a Master of Engineering in Automotive Engineering from IIUM in 2017, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical-Automotive Engineering from IIUM in 2014. As a Graduate Member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia, he contributes to advancing engineering education and research in mechanical and related fields.
His academic interests and research specializations include Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Renewable Energy and Green Technology, solar panels, batteries and supercapacitors, and the use of Python for random forest machine learning and data validation. Dr. Aung has authored several peer-reviewed journal publications and conference proceedings.
