Luvinska Oogarah has been involved in teaching at Curtin University's Mauritius campus within the Faculty of Humanities, specifically in the School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry. She is listed as teaching staff for SCST1000 Introduction to Screen Creativity during Semester 2, 2020. This internal unit, coordinated by Dr. Antonio Traverso, carries 25 credit points and features a tuition pattern of one three-hour seminar weekly, with no prerequisites or co-requisites. The unit aims to introduce foundational concepts in screen creativity. Similarly, in Semester 1, 2021, Oogarah served as teaching staff for SCWR2000 Introduction to Screenwriting, another 25-credit internal unit coordinated by Dr. Kerreen Ely Harper, also delivered through weekly three-hour seminars without prerequisites. These roles highlight her contributions to undergraduate education in media and creative arts disciplines at the campus.
Prior to these engagements, Oogarah was a lecturer at Charles Telfair Institute, joining as one of the new faces in the English Language Centre in November 2017 alongside other academic staff. She progressed to a full-time lecturer position at Curtin University - Charles Telfair Institute, teaching Academic English, Business English, and Mass Communication courses to both full-time and part-time students. During this time, she managed a campus project to promote Drama. In August 2018, she facilitated an English workshop on critical thinking skills at Curtin Mauritius, as promoted through official campus communications.
