Dr. Mostafa Hamadi serves as a Lecturer in the School of Information Technology at Murdoch University, Australia. From 2021 to 2024, he held the position of Academic Chair of the Business Information Systems major within the same school. Hamadi obtained his PhD in Information Technology from Charles Darwin University during 2019-2021, complemented by a Master's degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Systems Analysis from the same institution. Earlier in his career, he worked as a tutor at Charles Darwin University's College of Engineering, Information Technology and Environment. He also served as an Assistant Professor in the College of Computing and Information Technology at the University of Doha for Science and Technology. Hamadi is ITIL certified and holds an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) credential from Murdoch University.
His research specializations encompass sustainability in information systems, human-computer interaction, information systems education, sustainable HCI, social media integration in higher education, and sustainable digital learning frameworks.
