Dr. N. Sandhya serves as Professor and Head of the Research and Development Cell in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AIML and IoT) at VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad, having joined the institution on June 19, 2014. She earned her B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2000, M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2007, and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2012. Her research specializations include Applied AI, Data Engineering, Soft Computing, and Data Mining.

Her work covers text document clustering, machine learning classification techniques, big data stream processing, AI applications in healthcare, image analysis for disease detection, and predictive modeling.
