Professor Nicholas Gant is a professor at the University of Auckland and director of the Exercise Neurometabolism Laboratory. He conducts research in the fields of exercise physiology. His research focuses on exercise neurometabolism, including fuelling the brain to cope with extreme stress, fatigue, nutrition, and brain function. Professor Gant serves as Deputy Head of School - Research in the School of Exercise, Sport and Rehabilitation Sciences within the Faculty of Science.
