Dr. Raj Gunesh is an Instructor (Mauritius) within the Global Curtin portfolio at Curtin University. A seasoned educator and statistical consultant with more than 25 years of experience, he specializes in statistics, quantitative data analysis, and quantitative research methodologies. His academic journey began with a BSc in Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics, followed by a BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Statistics, both from the University of Durban-Westville (now the University of KwaZulu-Natal). While pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Science at the University of Cape Town, he served as a Teaching Assistant in Statistics. Gunesh advanced his career as a full-time Junior Lecturer during his Master's in Mathematical Statistics at the University of Durban-Westville and held a part-time Lecturer position in Mathematics and Statistics at Damelin College. He earned his PhD in Statistics from the University of Durban-Westville and a Doctor of Education (DEd) in Educational Psychology from the University of the Western Cape through distance learning.
