Professor Rajeev Sharma serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics in Deakin Business School at Deakin University, within the Faculty of Business and Law. He holds a PhD from the University of New South Wales and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, and is an alumnus of the University of Delhi. Throughout his career, Sharma has held faculty positions at the University of New South Wales, University of Oklahoma, and University of Waikato. His research specializations encompass business analytics, digital strategy, innovation management, method bias, information systems management, IS implementation, IS training, and transactive memory systems. Sharma leads key research initiatives, including serving as Digital Transformation Theme Lead at the Deakin SME Research Centre, Co-Director of the Deakin Lab for Artificial Intelligence and Future of Business, and Director of the AI and Future of Business research unit.
Sharma has made significant contributions to the academic field through high-impact publications in leading journals.
