Rebecca Boles serves as Associate Professor of Interior Design in the School of Architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), part of the College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs (CAPPA). She held the position of Assistant Dean of Academic and Student Affairs and directed the Interior Design Program, which offers a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. Holding professional credentials as AIA, RID, and LEED Green Associate, Boles taught courses including ARCH 1301/5301: Introduction to Architecture and Interior Design. An active member of AIA Fort Worth and the Texas Society of Architects, including the Publications Committee, her work focuses on interior design and architecture in academia and professional practice. She authored the publication 'A Performing Arts Center for Arlington, Texas' in 1984, advocating for a cultural center in Arlington through consolidated facilities for performing arts organizations. Through decades of service at UTA, Boles demonstrated unwavering commitment to mentoring students, enhancing interior design education, and fostering professional development in the field, leaving a lasting legacy upon her retirement from administrative duties.
