Robert S. Hogan, Ph.D., serves as Associate Professor of Accounting and Chair of the Department of Accounting and Business Law at the College of Charleston School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, earned in 2013, and a Master's in Accountancy from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas, obtained in 2000. Hogan's research specializations include archival financial accounting, capital market research, earnings and reporting quality, and integrated reporting. His expertise in financial accounting and capital markets informs his leadership in the department and contributions to graduate programs, including teaching Accounting Issues for the Business Manager in the MBA curriculum.
Hogan has published several peer-reviewed articles that advance knowledge in accounting and related fields.
