Professor Sigi Goode is a Professor of Information Systems in the Research School of Management at the Australian National University College of Business and Economics. His research interests focus on information security behavior at organizational and individual levels, encompassing data breaches, identity theft, system vulnerabilities, software hacking, customer account fraud, and software piracy. Additional areas include services and technology adoption, policy and use, organizational transformation through open source software, and online services such as mobile devices, cloud computing, personal cloud services, online service failure, and virtual worlds. With over fifteen years of experience designing and managing online information platforms, his work has received funding from the Department of Defence, AustCyber, and the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network. Goode coordinates and lectures in courses including INFS1001 Business Information Systems, INFS3059 Project Management and Information Systems, INFS2004 Electronic Business, and others related to e-commerce, supply chain management, and advanced information systems research.
Goode has published extensively in leading journals such as MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Journal of Business Ethics, Information & Management, and European Journal of Operational Research.
