Steve Eastall holds the positions of Facilities Manager, Manager of Property Services, and Health and Safety Adviser at the University of Otago, Wellington, within the Division of Health Sciences. As Health and Safety Adviser, he is responsible for managing the school's Health and Safety policies and emergency management procedures. He ensures full compliance with all relevant university policies, procedures, and legislative requirements, such as the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and the University's own Health and Safety policy. Eastall chairs the University of Otago Wellington (UOW) Health and Safety Committee. He oversees the development, maintenance, and implementation of the UOW Emergency Plan, while also ensuring the campus remains prepared for any emergencies. His office is available Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 12:45pm.
