Dr Victoria Goss is Associate Professor in Early Diagnosis and Translational Research at the University of Southampton and Head of Early Diagnosis and Translational Research at the Southampton Clinical Trials Unit. She holds a PhD and leads research focused on developing and evaluating new diagnostic approaches, particularly for the early detection of multiple cancers and related conditions such as pancreatic pathology following diabetes diagnosis. Recent publications from 2024 and 2025 address multicancer early detection using plasma amino acid measurements, oxidative stress in mechanically ventilated patients, and inflammasome activation in severe asthma. She collaborates on projects involving respiratory diseases and translational research to improve patient outcomes through clinical trials.
