Dr. Victoria Stewart is a Senior Lecturer in the postgraduate mental health practice programs at Griffith University and a research fellow within the School of Allied Health, Sport and Social Work. She earned her PhD from Griffith University in 2023, Master of Philosophy in 2017, Graduate Certificate in Higher Education, and Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. With over 30 years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist in mental health settings in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, Stewart previously held positions as Associate Lecturer and Lecturer at Griffith University, bridging clinical practice and academia to advance recovery-oriented mental health care.
Her research specializations encompass goal planning in mental health services, co-design with lived experience perspectives, interprofessional learning, creative arts in recovery, and community pharmacy roles in mental health support. Key publications include 'Are SMART goals fit-for-purpose?
