Dr. Weiling Zhuang is a Professor of Marketing in the College of Business at Eastern Kentucky University, where she serves as MBA Director. She holds a D.B.A. from Louisiana Tech University, an M.B.A. from Southwest Jiaotong University, an M.S. from Louisiana Tech University, and a B.S. from Guangdong University of Finance & Economics. Dr. Zhuang joined Eastern Kentucky University in 2010 as an Assistant Professor and advanced through the ranks to full Professor in the Department of Management, Marketing, and International Business.
Dr. Zhuang's research specializations include customer co-creation, salespeople management, reference price, and online auctions. She has published extensively in leading journals on topics such as service recovery, online reviews, self-service technologies, business education, and student motivations. Key publications include "How to respond to negative online reviews: language style matters" (2024, Journal of Service Theory and Practice, with S. Zhang, L. Su, B.J.
