William Bradshaw serves as Professor of Practice in Real Estate Development at Tulane University’s School of Architecture, where he has been a founding faculty member of the Sustainable Real Estate Development Program since 2008. His teaching integrates practical insights from a distinguished career in real estate development, emphasizing sustainable practices and innovative financing. Bradshaw currently holds a position on the School of Architecture’s Executive Committee for the 2024-2027 term, contributing to faculty governance.
Bradshaw earned a Ph.D. in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a Master of City Planning and a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from MIT, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Cross-Cultural Studies from Davidson College. As co-founder and CEO of Reimagine Development Partners, he leads efforts to educate developers and investors on utilizing tax credits for real estate projects that deliver social, environmental, and economic benefits. Previously, he co-founded and served as CEO of Green Coast Enterprises, a triple-bottom-line firm launched in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina to advance resilient development. His contributions have been recognized with an Echoing Green Fellowship, distinction as an alumnus of Davidson College, and selection as a White House Champion of Change by President Obama. In 2022, Bradshaw launched the Property Lines podcast, which examines narratives of land ownership, labor, wealth access, and their contemporary societal impacts. He has been profiled in NOLA.com for his work democratizing real estate investing through innovative ventures. Bradshaw’s bridge between academia and industry fosters impactful education and development in sustainable real estate, particularly in post-disaster recovery contexts like New Orleans.
