Professor Winston Byblow is Professor of Neuroscience at the University of Auckland and Director of the Movement Neuroscience Laboratory. He is affiliated with the Department of Exercise Sciences in the School of Exercise, Sport and Rehabilitation Sciences and the Centre for Brain Research. His research focuses on movement neuroscience, movement disorders, neurophysiology, motor neurophysiology, neurorehabilitation, neuromodulation and neural plasticity. Professor Byblow mentors postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers and has led studies on stroke recovery and rehabilitation.
Professor Byblow has held his position at the University of Auckland since at least 1998, following earlier affiliation with Simon Fraser University. He maintains an active research profile with numerous publications and grants in his areas of expertise.
