Yohei Okamoto is an Associate Lecturer in Social Sciences at Murdoch University, affiliated with the School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences in the Tourism and Events discipline. His academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology and Anthropology from Murdoch University completed in 2024, a Master of Philosophy in Tourism from Murdoch University (2014-2016), a Postgraduate Diploma in Tourism from Murdoch University in 2011, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kyoto Sangyo University. Okamoto's research specializations encompass tourism education, research paradigms, cycling tourism, education policy, sociology, and philosophy.
