About Zheng

Dr. Zheng Zhou is Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at Lewis University. Originally from China, Dr. Zhou received his bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China. He later earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Purdue University Northwest and a Ph.D. in Management Science with a concentration in analytics from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Dr. Zhou has been teaching since 2017. Prior to joining Lewis University, he taught at various universities in the Chicago area, including the Illinois Institute of Technology, Governors State University, and Dominican University. He has earned verified digital credentials as a data science instructor from the IBM Skills Academy. Dr. Zhou’s research interests include advertising incentives, marketing communications, advanced measurement methods, and robust optimization. He teaches courses such as Business Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence and Data Analysis.
