Skills/Qualifications
- High school graduate, preferably with a chemistry/environmental protection background
- Basic knowledge of chemistry and laboratory work
- Knowledge of using common laboratory glassware, utensils and equipment
- Ability to prepare solutions, reagents and samples for analysis
- Knowledge of handling chemicals and observing laboratory safety rules
Specific Requirements
- Preparation and processing of environmental samples (water, wastewater, soil, waste) for analysis;
- Preparation of solutions, reagents and materials necessary for laboratory determinations;
- Performance of laboratory operations specific to sample preparation: filtration, homogenization, weighing, dilution, extraction, mineralization, etc.
- Use and maintenance of laboratory glassware, utensils and equipment
- Proper management and storage of samples, reagents and consumables;
- Recording of the activity performed in the laboratory documents and registers;
- Compliance with work procedures under the conditions of the integrated quality management system and occupational health and safety standards.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: 28.08.2026 (inclusive) 15.00
The competition file will contain the following documents:
- application/registration form for the competition;
- copy of the identity document, if the candidate does not have an identity card, of the passport or another identity document issued for a purpose equivalent to the identity card or passport;
- copy of the birth certificate;
- copy of the marriage certificate or other document through which the name change was made, as the case may be;
- copies of documents attesting the level of studies and other documents attesting to the completion of specializations as well as copies of documents attesting to the fulfillment of the specific conditions of the position;
- copy of the employment record/certificates issued by the employer for the period worked attesting to the length of service and the specialty of studies required for the position;
- medical certificate attesting to the candidate's good health, issued by the candidate's family doctor or by the authorized health units no more than 6 months prior to the competition - original;
- criminal record certificate or, as the case may be, the extract from the criminal record - original or issued online through authorized platforms

- declaration of consent for the processing of personal data in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 190/2018
- for candidates with disabilities, in the case of a request for reasonable accommodation, the certificate attesting to the state of health must be accompanied by a copy of the certificate of classification in a degree of disability, issued under the law.
The competition file is submitted to the secretary of the competition committee either in person at the INCD ECOIND Headquarters in Bucharest or by Romanian Post, express courier service or by email to the email address: oana.ciobanu@ecoind.ro.
Competition tests*:
- Selection of competition files – marked as admitted / rejected;
- Practical test;
- Interview.
*Only candidates declared admitted in the previous stage can appear for the next test
The tests will be held at the INCD ECOIND headquarters in Drumul Podu Dambovitei no. 57 – 73, sector 6, Bucharest, starting at 10:00.
