HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
Provide academic advising, educational planning and policy interpretation to prospective and current students.
Conduct student outreach, retention, and case management activities
Review, maintain, and audit student records as was as monitor degree progression,
Assist with student orientation facilitation, workshops, presentations, and student success initiatives
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and university stakeholders on committee participation, professional development, and special projects
We will hire multiple advisors from this announcement for the Atlanta Downtown, Dunwoody, Decatur, Newton, Alpharetta, and Online campus (which is housed on the Clarkston campus).
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Hiring Requirements:
Preference may be given to those with a bachelor's degree and one year of experience working with student retention or student affairs programs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience presenting to groups or with group facilitation
Experience following up on problems until resolution.
