- Demonstrate relational and developmental student-centered
advising that assist the whole student in prior student success,
persistence, and progress towards educational goals.
- Develop expertise in specific, position-related curricula and
student supports or opportunities
- Regularly consult with senior advisors or supervisors on
student issues
Professional Involvement
Expected to participate in New Advisor Onboarding. Attend a minimum
of four meetings annually of the Advisors & Coaches

Compensation: $50,000-$56,000
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- At least one (1) year of professional work or
internship/practicum experience in higher education working
directly with students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or higher
- At least one (1) year of experience advising students in a
college/university setting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as evidenced
by written application materials and interviews (where
applicable)
- Experience building positive relationships with diverse
populations.
- Prior experience in higher education, particularly in areas
related to Art & Architecture, Business, or Engineering
Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher.
