Are you an exceptional organiser with a talent for supporting senior leaders in a dynamic environment?

We wish to appoint 1 full time, 2-year fixed term Academic Centre Administrator to work within University of Cambridge Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) International Summer Programmes and Weekend Courses team, supporting the Heads of Academic Centre Administration, Academic Centre Coordinators, Academic Directors, Panel Tutors, students and applicants. The Academic Centre Administrator provides effective administration of the course portfolio.

Based at the stunning Madingley Hall, a Grade I listed building with Capability Brown-designed gardens, we also host conferences and events, offering a blend of academic and cultural experiences.

The Role

As Academic Centre Administrator, you will provide essential support to team members. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries for the International Summer Programme and Weekend Courses team.
  • Providing course administration including sending correspondence to students and academics, preparing course materials, assisting with applications and bookings.
  • Supporting and contributing to cross-team projects.

Some flexibility will be required during peak times which may include evenings and some weekends (eg International Summer Programme delivery dates, Weekend Courses, peak recruitment periods, open days and for key meetings).
