Required Related Experience: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatology Residency Program; Completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatopathology Fellowship; Board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology and Dermatopathology; Experience in academic or teaching environments, preferably with internal medicine or family medicine residents and medical students; Track record of peer-reviewed publications or scholarly presentations in dermatology and/or dermatopathology; Demonstrated ability to collaborate across specialties and participate in multidisciplinary care
Required License/Registration/Certification: Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
Job Summary: The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine invites applications for a full-time Academic Dermatologist to join the Division of Dermatology. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in dermatology and have demonstrated excellence in clinical care, dermatopathology, medical education, and scholarly activity. This position includes opportunities for clinical practice, teaching medical students and residents, and participating in research and academic endeavors. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of academic dermatology at one of the Commonwealth’s leading academic health centers, with access to NIH-supported infrastructure, multidisciplinary partners, and a diverse patient population.
