Academic Radiation Oncologist – Head & Neck Oncology
The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), Department of Radiation Oncology at the NCI-designated Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center- in partnership with Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Radiation Oncologist with a primary clinical focus in Head and Neck Oncology with a negotiable secondary focus. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic academic department.

We offer access to state-of-the-art treatment facilities, advanced radiation therapy technologies, and robust support from a highly skilled team of physicists and dosimetrists.
The Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center—Nebraska's only NCI-designated cancer center with locations in the Omaha metropolitan area and Kearney Nebraska serving as the hub for our clinical, research, and education activities. Our expanding department includes twelve physicians, eleven physicists, and research faculty and research staff. We will have the only proton therapy capability in the state of Nebraska and the region. This includes Flash research capability.
We welcome applications from both experienced clinicians and recent graduates. The successful candidate must hold an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) and be board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology. Academic rank is consistent with qualifications.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have a MD or DO degree with completion or near completion of a residency in ACGME accredited Radiation Oncology.
Supplemental Qualifications:
Evidence of publication in peer reviewed journals and success in extramural funding.
Salary Range: Salary Commensurate with Experience
