Position Summary

The Department of Psychiatry at the University at Buffalo is seeking an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to contribute to teaching, clinical care, and research. This is a full-time clinical position with roles available in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the teaching mission of the department, including medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in clinical research and clinical trials.
• Maintain effective relationships with patients and staff.
• Participate in academic activities within the department, including meetings and teaching initiatives.

The successful candidate will receive an academic appointment in the School of Medicine, with opportunities for teaching and research in psychiatry.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree with completion of residency in general psychiatry.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State.
• Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry.
