"Academiemanager Mens en Maatschappij"

Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen is seeking an Academiemanager for Mens en Maatschappij. As an energetic manager with change-making abilities and a passion for education or the social domain, you will contribute to a just society and lead teams that create societal impact.

What will you do? Due to the development of the Academie Mens en Maatschappij (AMM), two positions are available: one for Management and Innovation (M&I), overseeing programs like the Master in Management and Innovation, and one for Research, Further Education, and Innovation (OBNI), managing lectorates and other activities.

As academiemanager, you are responsible for result-oriented teams, coaching and facilitating them, promoting collaboration and innovation, and contributing to the academy's development. You connect employees within and outside the academy, stimulate co-creation, and leverage opportunities in the knowledge ecosystem. You strengthen the triangle of education, research, and the professional field, initiate academy-wide projects for societal impact, and contribute to the annual plan.

The AMM is undergoing transitions, requiring change management, entrepreneurship, and connecting leadership. The management team includes four academiemanagers and the academy director, with advisory roles from various experts.

Who are you? You are an energetic manager with strong communication skills, focused on collaboration and co-creation. You have an academic degree, experience in education or the social domain, leadership experience, and affinity with the academy's field. For OBNI, research experience is desired.

What does HAN offer? A 0.8-1 FTE position in scale 13 with a maximum salary of €7,496 gross per month, a one-year contract with intent for permanence, 8% holiday allowance, 13th month, good secondary conditions, work-life balance, and opportunities for development.
