"Academy - Bus Driver"

Lipscomb Academy seeks an experienced full time Bus Driver join its dynamic team. If you are dedicated and ambitious, Lipscomb Academy is an excellent place to grow your career. This position consists of varied hours, including nights, weekends and morning/afternoon routes. The Bus Driver will work closely with the Team Manager to maintain the Academy's fleet of buses including maintenance, inspections, scheduling, cleanliness, repair. This position is also responsible for overseeing other drivers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform beginning-shift vehicle inspections before departure
• Complete bus route on schedule
• Assist the disabled and elderly with embarking and disembarking
• Safely transport goods and passengers
• Report all mechanical issues to service manager immediately
• Obey all traffic laws
• Maintain a clean and sanitary bus at all times

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's License
• A valid CDL (P & S endorsements)
• Less than 3 points on your license
• Air Brake certification (preferred)
• Some College (preferred)
• Able to occasionally lift 50 lbs
• 20/20 vision (with or without glasses or contacts)
• Willingness to submit to random drug screening
