Job Description:
DIVISION: Academic
UNIT: DiMenna-Nyselius Library
BASIC FUNCTION: Supports a variety of Access Services and clerical procedures. Assists library patrons in the use of library materials, facilities, and equipment. Supervises and trains student employees. Manages Access Services operations in absence of Head of Access Services or Access Services & Reserves Specialist.
UNUSUAL WORK CONDITIONS: Physical requirements: mobility; must be able to lift materials off shelf. Requires some evening and weekend hours.
EDUCATION: Associate degree or equivalent required.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: One-year previous library or related experience. Demonstrated computer literacy. Demonstrated knowledge of integrated library systems. Supervisory and communication skills are required. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

SUPERVISION OF PERSONNEL: Assisting with the supervision of approximately 30 student assistants.
