Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Accessibility Services Administrator to support the delivery of services for disabled students. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth administration, accurate data management, and effective coordination of support services across the University.

You will manage student registrations, coordinate alternative assessment arrangements, maintain systems and processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with advisors, staff, and students, you will help ensure services are delivered efficiently and with care.

Salary will be in the range of $60,046 to $72,636 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

Ko wai koe? – Who are you?

You will be an experienced administrator with strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail. You are confident managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will also bring:

  • Proven administrative experience, ideally in a tertiary environment
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills and systems capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Sensitivity and professionalism when working with confidential information
  • Experience with Moodle or within the disability sector is advantageous but not essential.
