including developing and maintaining operational functions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and university policies and regulations. The Supervisor ensures accurate and timely payments for state purchases of goods and services to vendors through the SUNY voucher and Statewide Financial System in accordance with State University procedures, State Finance Law, and State Comptroller's Office regulations. Additionally, the position acts as the Travel and NET card administrator for the campus, ensuring expenditures and payments comply with federal and state guidelines. The Supervisor manages the A/P Specialist and is responsible for conducting annual performance reviews. Responsibilities include: • Audit and monitor daily AP activity to ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices. • Review and develop policies, procedures, and training materials. • Effectively communicate with vendors and campus offices to resolve complex issues and inquires. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree (B.S/B.A), ideally in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. • Minimum 2 - 5 years progressive experience in Accounts Payable, or related field. • Possess strong financial acumen and efficient verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. • Strong analytical, audit, and customer service skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently. Preferred Qualifications: • Past employment in Higher Education is highly preferred. • Experience managing Travel and NET card programs is a plus.
