Position, Department: Adjunct Assistant Professor, Economics, Academic Affairs

Type of Position: Adjunct Faculty, Exempt

Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs

Pay Range: AJCR $1,208-$1,344 per credit hour and in accordance with the adjunct table and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: Teach Principles of Microeconomics and/or Principles of Macroeconomics face-to-face and during the day (current need is to teach Microeconomics MWF 12:00-12:50 p.m. for the Spring 2026 semester) the equivalent of 3-9 credit hours per semester (1-3 classes) in the Economics department. Possibility to teach online in the future.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Economics OR Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate hours in Economics.
• Demonstrated teaching experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated strong organizational and planning skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A sensitivity to, and understanding of, the diverse backgrounds of community college students.
