Adjunct Associate Professor
Job Summary
Provide education to PA students in a course in which the adjunct faculty exhibits the requisite knowledge and experience to teach such a course.

Required Knowledge’s, Skills and Abilities
Individuals must possess these knowledge’s, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
- Knowledge of the laws and regulations relating to the practice of Physician Assistants.
- Knowledge of the skills and tasks that are performable by a primary care Physician Assistant.
- Effective skills in oral and written communication.
Required Qualifications
Qualification Standards
- EDUCATION: If PA – Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and possessing a Master’s Degree. Other than PA: a minimal of a Master’s degree in the field in which instruction is to be provided. Doctorate degree will be given preference
- EXPERIENCE: If a PA: Minimum two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or 1 year of clinical experience and a Masters degree. If non PA: two years of experience with a Master’s degree in a related field. One year of experience with a Doctoral degree in a related field.
- LICENSURE: For PAs: California Physician Assistant License; NCCPA Certification. For Non PA – licensure or certification in the related field if applicable.
